Now and then I hear something that really sticks in my brain....this was one of those quotes that I recently heard, that really resonated with me. Since I have nothing wonderful to blog about, I thought I could at least share an inspiring thought with you all. You are welcome.
I did have a great time with my sisters in Utah! We had lots of laughs and tears, and thanks to Amy's family...even some vomit.
Every time I leave Utah, I say to myself...."why do I live in the hot ugly desert????" I guess because this is where my husband and kids are. hmmm....
I have had such a crazy busy day, that I can't even think to blog. I will leave you to ponder on my very inspirational thought.

I am assuming it's talking about our trials. That's a very interesting thought. I would say mom's mountains are VERY rugged right now. Hopefully she will be a "higher" person because of them.

More than a time ago I found a purpose along a path, and the path was rough but upward. When the path cam to an easier way I found a downward trend. No longer do I enjoy the coasting down as much as the pathway upward, and so my dear friend I pray now for the upward call I tend. Not easy is this path, and moreover do I long for an easier time often, but in the grasping of the vine to pull me up, I often notice a vision. In the vision I see, ever more clearer than before, is the Son of God in the faces I seek, or the absence of such with a prayer and a nudge, I hope for the best in the men before me. Service is light when the yoke is His, and now for the day I seek only Him. Pay is meager as the business trends down, but the rewards for following Him, are more than a great crown. As the ripples of decisions from times past now behold, I long for a day when I can joy through the trials like our Christian brother, James. Today this day, I trust in Him, and finally a rest will enlighten all the same. For now I press on and upward toward the goal at hand enjoying the presence of those who have beheld, and now see His glory in the faces you cross, with darkness running away from the light, of that old rugged cross.
